The Brick, my parents' gargantuan "cell phone," passed away this morning. I still have it, but its DEAD. It has been replaced by a newer, but surely not better, phone. (bugle playing taps)

Old news from the baseball world
A moment of silence for Randy Johnson, the greatest pitcher ever, who is now a member of the NY Sellouts I mean Yankees. As you may have guessed, he used to play for the mariners. Speaking of the mariners, they not too long ago picked up Adrian Beltre. He played for the dodgers last year, he plays 3rd base. Powere hitter. We needed some. The M's have also picked up Pokey Reese (shortstop from boston) and Aaron Sele (former mariner, but hes in the minors now) and hooray, Edgar is staying as a coach or somethin.

Whats this? 2 updates in 2 days??? no way!
now what would i update about so soon after updating? well, the mariners got richie sexson!!! Dont pretend youre not excited. Now, im sure some of you dont know who he is. now you do. He plays 1st base, hes good, and he played for the dbacks last year. he can hit.
Also, i thought it was wierd that practically nobody knew what advent is. Advent is the 1st season in the church year. It is when we are waiting for Christmas (Jesus' first coming) and also for His second coming.

The First Update and The Second Entry.
Two of the mariners won gold gloves. Im sure you're thrilled. Bret Boone (second baseman, team leader in hr and rbi) and Ichiro (right field).
12 days until basketball practice starts. i ran 2 miles today. not that far, i know but it was dark.

ok here's my blog. exciting isn't it? now i know the question on all you fascinated readers' minds is: "how good are the mariners going to be next year?" and the answer is better than this year, because they cant get much worse. they got a new manager so theyre headed in the right direction. but the down side is edgar martinez retired. well i need to go to bed because us lutherans go to church at 8:15 sunday mornings.
